How will it work?

A remote workstation assessment will be conducted online via a video chat, using the employee’s laptop/desktop computer. Our medically-trained physiotherapists will assess the conditions the employee is working in before providing recommendations there and then.

This will be followed up by a comprehensive report for the employer, producing a recorded paper trail which can be used to monitor the process of improvement and ensure recommendations are acted upon to provide the best possible working from home environment.

Why do I need to carry out a remote workstation assessment?

Maintaining a robust remote workstation assessment system can have a positive impact on many aspects of your company:

    - It helps mitigate potential future injury and subsequent time off work which can have extensive implications if the injury is ongoing and requires a lengthy recovery time
    - It will provide a form of protection for your organisation if any future claims for compensation should be made based on a working from home injury
    - It will positively contribute to the health and wellbeing of your staff
    - It will improve employee-company relations as it shows care and consideration for staff, not just when they are based in the office.

One of the key issues for workers making the switch from working in the office to home is their workstation set-up. How many of us have an ergonomic chair at home, or appropriate screens with a dedicated desk area?

Off-set this potential company-wide issue with a rigorous remote workstation assessment from dedicated, medical professionals and ensure your staff has the best conditions available to continue their work.
